About the Program
The Columbia Gas of Ohio Customer Choice Program is available to customers using less than or equal to 6,000 Mcf annually.
Enrollments are submitted via our file exchange system. Customers can be enrolled by phone, online or in writing.
Gas deliveries are nominated on our Aviator system following our provided demand curve Daily Delivery Requirements. Firm transportation is required.
Natural gas service rates, regulations and rules can be found in the Tariff.

Need a customer list?
We’ll provide eligible Choice customer lists to you as long as you’re certified and approved to operate in our Choice program. You can request by
The list is provided, on a best-efforts basis and is based on information available in our customer information systems as of Unit 21.
It is your responsibility to scrub the list to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
You can request from the following eligible Choice customer list types:
- Solicitation Customer List – Choice eligible customers, including those already enrolled with a Choice Supplier
- Governmental Aggregation Solicitation List – Choice eligible customers, except those already enrolled with a Governmental Aggregation
- Governmental Aggregation Eligible Customer List – Choice eligible customers, including those already enrolled with a Governmental Aggregation
Please note, Governmental Aggregators and Retail Natural Gas Brokers are eligible to receive Generic Load Pattern information free of charge.
How to get your customer list
- Execute one of the following agreements and send via email to Choice@Nisource.com
- Certified Retail Natural Gas Supplier Customer Information Agreement required for Certified Retail Natural Gas Suppliers requesting Solicitation or Governmental Aggregation Customer Lists
- Governmental Aggregator Customer Information Agreement required for Governmental Aggregators requesting Governmental Aggregations List or Generic Load Pattern Information
- Retail Natural Gas Broker Customer Information Agreement required for Retail Natural Gas Brokers requesting Solicitation and Governmental Aggregation Lists or Generic Load Pattern Information
