The purpose of this document is to provide Suppliers with information about enhancements made to CHOICE Program Rate Code Requests in Columbia Gas of Ohio (OH), Pennsylvania (PA), Virginia (VA) and Kentucky (KY). Suppliers will have the capability to request new rate codes and change pricing to existing rate codes in a single request (RRQ) file. In addition, Suppliers will also receive a newly formatted response (RRS) file.
Change Highlights
- Automate the process for requesting new rate code(s)
- Common file layout for all rate code requests and responses (OH, PA, VA, KY) – single file for new rate code requests and existing rate code changes
- Eliminate current “dark window”, allowing processing of existing rate code changes between the 16th and 19th of each month (VA, KY)
- Allow rate code requests through Unit 20 to be effective the following month
*Note – COH Bill Ready (YY), COH Immediate Choice (II), COH SCO (ZZ), COH Governmental Aggregation (G), and Supplier Bills Own Gas Cost (BG) rate codes are excluded from this effort.
